SushiMotion Looks Poised to Establish a Permanent Base in Tampa

The caterer and sushi consultant has been operating out of Palm Harbor’s Thirsty Marlin.
Although the restaurant is reportedly going to open this December, a location is yet to be revealed.
From go-karts to bowling and laser tag to mini-golf, Elev8 Fun has quickly become a local leader in the interactive entertainment industry.
Co-owner, Christy Lake, together with Maine-based partners Karen and Skip Eaton, will be serving up fresh lobster rolls, Jersey dogs, and more.
The new confectionary looks poised to take over the former Brandon’s Vegan Deli, which closed up shop last April.
As the first out-of-state location, owners Dawn and Scott Spivak plan on gutting the building so they can ‘replicate’ the aesthetic of their flagship outpost.
The new outpost is a ‘natural choice’ given its proximity to health-conscious consumers, according to founder and CEO Jordan Johnson.
Baker and barista Jade Yelvington took to social media yesterday and announced the company’s upcoming outpost in V.M. Ybor.
The initial outpost will serve as a proof-of-concept for expansion plans moving forward.
New construction plans were filed with the city back in September, and received an update last Wednesday, Nov 2.
Largely known for their ice cream, candy, and coffee shop, owners Luca and Eglantine Leguerchois are turning their focus toward something ‘simple, but more healthy.’
The restaurant, dubbed Villani & Co., is the brainchild of Tommy Villani, the local restaurateur behind Irma’s Tacos, Craft Beer, and Tequila Bar.
The growing sandwich franchise currently has two locations in the region, however, this will be the first in Tampa proper.
After finding unprecedented success with its flagship Venice location, owner Tommy Villani thinks the concept might do even better further north.
Following a years-long delay, followed by breaking ground this past summer, the company’s second Tampa Bay outpost is finally taking shape.
The new location will actually serve as a prototype restaurant, featuring a full bar and more healthy menu options alongside legacy favorites.
Named for the iconic ‘Chicken Little’ children’s story, the restaurant will specialize in serving sliders, chicken tenders, fries, and shakes.
The long-awaited opening of this unique ice cream shop is finally here, however, it’s also just the beginning for local franchisees, Shannon Greene and Paula Green.
The concept is a passion project inspired by owner Joe Lalonde’s father’s Michigan-based ice cream shop of the same name.
Although it was first announced over the summer, the company’s plan review didn’t officially hit public records until earlier this month.
