After two long years filled with mounting hype and anticipation, Buzzed Bull Creamery will finally open on Tuesday, Nov 1, at 5220 Bridge St. However, according to Shannon Greene, co-franchisee along with best friend, Paula Green, this is just the beginning of what they hope will be at least three more locations through next year and beyond.

“The franchise itself has been written up in Entrepreneur Magazine, and definitely has a lot of accolades that precede it,” Greene tells What Now Tampa. “I feel as though it’s a growing franchise and a growing idea, and I feel that it’s really a perfect fit for Tampa.”

The first Buzzed Bull Creamery was opened in 2017 in Cincinnati by husband-and-wife teams, Kaitlyn and Colten Mounce and Shane Mounce and Amber Ayers, with the singular mission of “making ice cream fun for everyone,” and “providing an exclusive product in a comfortable atmosphere for guests who seek a pleasurable yet unique experience outside of bars and restaurants,” according to the company’s website.

That means an innovative approach to the classic frozen treat that uses liquid nitrogen and, for adults, more than 30 varieties of alcohol-infused ice cream starting at 5 percent ABV, including signature monthly “flights”  of four flavors, not unlike what you’d find at a craft brewery.

Meanwhile, younger fans can still indulge in alcohol-free options, making good on the brand’s vision of providing “a warm and inviting place the local community can connect, a place where you welcome new neighbors but see familiar faces, and a place to celebrate life’s greatest moments.”
