The retail center on Gulf of Mexico Drive between Tarawitt Drive and St Judes Drive in Longboat Key will soon be home to a new ice cream spot. Plan review paperwork submitted by Pennys Ice Cream LLC shows Penny’s Ice Cream opening at 5610 Gulf of Mexico Drive.
What Now reached out on Friday to Gregory Bukowski, the owner behind Pennys Ice Cream LLC, to inquire about plans for the new ice cream spot. Bukowksi declined to make any immediate comment on the project.
The details about the new ice cream will remain a mystery for a bit longer. What Now is awaiting more information on the concept, however, so stay tuned for a possible update in the future.
Opening in the Gulf of Mexico Drive location, Penny’s Ice Cream would be situated across from fine dining spot Harry’s Continental Kitchens, next to Joan M Durante Community Park.
