The small retail center on the northwestern corner of the intersection between West Waters Avenue and Twelve Oaks Boulevard appears to be the future home of a new Chipotle Mexican Grill location. The fast-casual burrito megachain has more than 3100 locations in the United States, and a recently submitted plan review shows another outpost opening at 6531 W Waters Ave.
Chipotle’s build-your-own approach to burritos, bowls, tacos, and more includes proteins like Carne Asada, Steak, Chicken, Barbacoa, and Carnitas, along with plant-based choices like Sofritas and the guac-inclusive Veggie. Then finish with rice, beans, and toppers like Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa, Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa, Fajita Veggies, and Queso Blanco.
Opening in the West Waters Avenue location, a new Chipotle Mexican Grill would join Kelp Sushi Joint in a small building next to Walgreens. Just east, past Henderson Road, is a larger retail center that is home to other fast and fast-casual concepts like Chick-fil-A, Panera Bread, and Pollo Tropical.
