Local ice cream shop Blue Pineapple recently filed a new construction plan review with the city of Sarasota for an outpost at 935 N Beneva Rd, according to public records.
Blue Pineapple sources its ice cream from a homemade creamery in St. Pete that’s been operating since 1979.
“It’s really a good quality ice cream,” says Blue Pineapple owner Eszti Bazso, adding the chocolate flavor just won an award.
Blue Pineapple currently operates two other locations in Sarasota, one along Tamiami Trail and the other on Cattleman Road.
This is not very accurate.
Big Olaf Creamery only sold their products to the Big Olaf retail stores.
The stores did not produce the products, only sold them.
There is no more Big Olaf Creamery business and no more production of any products.
