Benson Hospitality Group Plans New St. Pete Project

Located at 101 Third Ave. N in St. Petersburg, The Galaxy Hotel is the future home of two new concepts from St. Pete-based hospitality company Benson Hospitality Group. Paperwork submitted by Eve St. Pete, LLC shows two separate concepts, Eve Restaurant and Aurora Lounge, opening at the hotel’s Third Avenue address.

What Now confirmed news of the opening with Benson Hospitality Director of Operations Cory Saffran on Monday. Saffran said the company has just taken over the space from hotel and that it is too soon yet to share details about the new concepts.

Benson Hospitality is culinary force behind concepts like pan-Asian restaurant Fortu, Black Cattle Burger Company, and Top Slice Pizzeria.

“With over 50 years of combined experience in the restaurant and hotel industry, the team at Benson Hospitality Group is well-versed in launching new concepts as well as revitalizing existing operations,” says the Benson Hospitality Group website. “The seasoned team at BHG uses their expertise in both heart-of-the-house and front-of-the-house operations to ensure employee satisfaction comes first through connected leadership.”

The newly completed Galaxy Hotel is located on the intersection of Third Avenue North and First Street North, near The Sundial Shopping Mall.

“Located near Beach Drive and Tampa Bay, our modern rooms face the bay, and our facilities include dining, event hosting, and a rooftop bar,” says the Galaxy Hotel website. “The Galaxy Hotel is the premier destination for visitors and event organizers.”
