Paperwork submitted recently by STA Management shows the new Potbelly opening at 200 W Alexander Street, Units 3-4.

The retail center is already home to restaurants like Kyoto Palace, Domino’s Pizza, 32 Below Rolled Ice Creams, KFC, and Dunkin’.

“Florida as a whole holds immense promise for Potbelly, and we are strategically expanding in the Sunshine State to reach our potential,” Lynette McKee, senior vice president of franchising at Potbelly, said in a press release last summer. “With experienced franchise groups ready to showcase the Potbelly difference, I have no doubt that we will continue to grow our loyal customer base as we bring our brand to new regions across the state.”

That press release also said that Potbelly expects to reach a total of 8 locations in the Tampa Bay market by the end of 2024.

Summer favorites on the Potbelly Menu include the Avo Turkey Sandwich, the Farmhouse Salad, the Strawberry Shake, and the Sugar Cookie. Other sandwiches include A Wreck (A meaty fan favorite! Turkey breast, hickory smoked ham, Angus roast beef, salami, Swiss) and a massive PB&J with grape jelly.
