Formerly an auto-repair shop, the location has distinctive features, including its nine large garage doors, that Mutts and Martinis will be able to take particular advantage of. The space occupies about 5,000 square feet and will feature a 10-inch deep splash fountain with water sprays. Dogs will have the time of their life, to be sure, but safety is also a focus: there will be a double-gated entry and leashes will be required outside certain portions of the space.

That much for the Mutts. What about the Martinis?

A bar will offer full liquor, beer, and wine, along fun canine-themed cocktails, in an area decked out with 27 televisions, plus a stage, offering NFL and hockey watch parties and live music.

What Now reached out to Natalie Conner on Friday. Conner was not available for comment, but she told St. Pete Rising she would love to have Mutts and Martinis open by spring break.
