Valor Capital, a private developer, introduced a project that reinvigorates Clearwater’s urban landscape. With a tentative first-phase conceptual design of two 35-story towers (contingent upon a current environmental study Valor has commenced) which will offer breathtaking views, this development promises economic growth and community vitality. Moises Agami, CEO of Valor Capital, states in a statement, “Our commitment lies not just in creating structures, but in sculpting a skyline that embraces luxury living and community integration, echoing Clearwater’s evolution into a modern urban hub.”

Clearwater’s visionary strategy for economic growth within its urban core finds an embodiment in this transformative development. This residential project stands as a testament to Clearwater’s commitment to community enhancement and economic advancement. The anticipated economic impact, totaling nearly a billion dollars, underscores Valor Capital’s role in attracting international investments that fortify Clearwater’s economic future.

The downtown Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) functions as a subsidiary tax district instituted by the City with the goal of executing downtown redevelopment. These endeavors encompass the reduction or eradication of blight, enhancement of the tax foundation, generation and preservation of job prospects, and stimulation of both public and private investments within the CRA’s purview. The venture undertaken by Valor Capital is situated in the downtown CRA, serving as conclusive evidence of its inherent purpose for urban revitalization, including the height and density allowed. The increase in ad valorem property taxes generated by new development within the CRA is reserved to be used by the CRA within its boundaries as tax incremental financing to invest in and incentivize economic development within the downtown CRA. Valor Capital’s initiative is projected to inject over ten million dollars in property taxes per year, that will help fuel the downtown Clearwater CRA, leaving a lasting imprint of economic progress on the downtown area.

Valor Capital’s Clearwater project signifies more than architectural aspirations; it’s a testament to the city’s potential for prosperity, the embodiment of an evolving skyline, and the foundation for a brighter urban future.
