Shiso Crispy Expanding in St. Pete and Beyond

The gyoza restaurant is also expanding outside the Tampa market with the launch of franchising

Tampa Bay Times ‘Best of the Best’” winner in 2020 and 2021, Shiso Crispy is expanding in the Tampa Bay area—and beyond, as the brand launches franchising, owner Ronicca Whaley told What Now in a brief phone call on Monday.

At home, a new outpost of the gyoza brand is opening in St. Pete’s Edge District, (at 1431 Central Ave. N, according to a recently submitted plan review). Whaley says it is close to an opening but no official date has been announced yet, and that another new restaurant is opening in St. Pete as well.
