“It’s very tasty, it’s all-natural, and it’s gluten free,” franchisee Mark Kleinschmidt told What Now on Friday. “I’m originally from Minneapolist-St. Paul, and they’ve really got an attraction for people up there, as a healthy alternative to other fast food. We thought it would be nice to bring it down here.”

Popular Nautical bowls include the Nauti Bowl (Açaí, Pitaya, Granola, Banana, Cacao Nibs, Peanut Butter), the Big Island Bowl (Blue Majik, Açaí, Pitaya, Mango, Coconut, Vanilla Chia, Granola, Strawberries, Goji Berries, Hemp Seeds), and the Paddle Bowl (Blue Majik, Mango, Coconut, Granola, Strawberries, Coconut Flakes, Honey). You can also build your own bowl, choosing from a range of bases and toppers.

The açaí bowl caters largely to takeout and delivery orders. In addition, the location will feature seating for 10-12 guests inside, with a few outside tables, Kleinschmidt said. It will open this spring in the Shoppes of Bay Isles.
