“We’re pretty different from the restaurants in Polk County,” Daniel Bailey told What Now on Tuesday. “We’re focused on fresh, making everything in-house every day. And a lot of our ingredients are proprietary to our restaurant back in North Carolina.”

Bailey says guests can expect to find the same barbecue choices currently available at the Smithfield location, including Low and Slow Favorites like the Texas Trinity (8 oz of Texas brisket, half rack of ribs, and 8 oz of smoked sausage), the BBQ Chicken Plate, and the Pulled Pork Plate—all served in a space that seats about 200 guests, with outdoor patio space and indoor and outdoor bars. The overall menu will see some changes, however.

“It’ll be a little bit different. We won’t do a buffet here; instead, we’ll be doing steaks and chops, shrimp and grits. It’ll be breakfast, lunch, and dinner, seven days a week.”

Bailey also says more expansion may be in store for the area.

“Our parent company is Blue Line Aviation and they just expanded to Winter Haven, so we expanded with them. We want to expand further into Polk County pretty soon.”
