Hungry Greek Opening New Tampa Location

The homegrown Tampa Bay restaurant chain is “Fresh. Healthy. Greek.”

With 11 locations currently in operation, The Hungry Greek is the Greater Tampa Bay area’s homegrown Greek restaurant brand. The chain is now looking to expand on its popularity with a twelfth location, this time planned near Britton Plaza in Tampa. Plan review paperwork submitted by SYRZ LLC shows a new Hungry Greek opening at 4051 S Dale Mabry Highway.

The Hungry Greek menu features Pitas like the Gyro Pita, the Tabouli Pita, and the Hungry Pita (Chicken, Gyro, or Falafel, with Hummus, Olives, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions, Feta Cheese and Tzatziki Sauce), plus Bowls, Salads, and Meals like the Gyro Dinner, Chicken Souvlaki, Surf ‘n Turf, and Grilled Salmon.

“Welcome to The Hungry Greek! We are a fast-casual establishment that takes pride in serving Authentic Greek family recipes,” says the Hungry Greek website. “Every dish is prepared from scratch, in-house; and we collaborate with other local businesses whenever possible. Our mission is to deliver the fastest, freshest, and most convenient meals without ever sacrificing flavor. We value serving the local communities around the Tampa Bay Area, and we hope to serve you soon, OPA!”

What Now reached out on Wednesday to franchisee Adil Zidouhia to inquire about plans for the location’s opening. Zidouhia confirmed the news but was not immediately available to discuss the project. What Now is awaiting more information.
