Talkin’ Tacos offers a menu with a versatile range: tacos come with proteins like Carne Asada, Mahi Mahi, Mushroom, and Southwest Chicken. There’s even a Crispy Hot Chicken Sandwich. But the source of the chain’s fame is its birria, which comes not only in tacos but also as a Birria Grilled Cheese, Birria Ramen, and Quesa Birria with Oaxaca cheese, onions, cilantro, and tortilla chips.

The chain’s birria is braised daily over the course of an impressive 12 hours.

What’s next for the brand? Well, the Talkin’ Tacos website promises continued growth: “Florida, Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York, North Carolina, and growing!”

Furthermore, the Creative Loafing coverage says the brand’s next location is headed to Westchase. What Now reached out to Tampa franchisee Mohsin Husain to ask about the details of the planned Westchase location. Husain was not immediately available for comment.
