The Blu Halo is a popular spot for steak, seafood, wine, and a martini in its hometown of Tallahassee. After building a following there, the brand is planning its debut in the Tampa Bay market with a new location planned for North St. Pete, according to recent coverage by St. Pete Rising.

The Blu Halo’s second location will open on the ground floor of 17-story apartment complex and Park & Main, located at 221 Main Street North, the coverage says. The opening is expected for 2025.
“The Blu Halo is in that niche between casual and fine dining,” managing partner Andy Donato says in the St. Pete Rising coverage. “As Echelon City Center gets more established, we hope to see other exciting restaurants and retailers join us in making the area a sought-after destination.”
Donato will be operating the St. Pete restaurant in partnership with Blue Halo owner Keith Paniucki.
“The Blu Halo in Tallahassee, Florida, is much more than just a restaurant,” says the restaurant’s website. “With our wine and martini bar, as well as steaks and seafood, we offer a culinary experience like no other. Our unique ambience, combined with a high-energy bar is unlike any other in Tallahassee.”
We’ll be looking forward to seeing that energy take root at Park & Main.
What Now reached out to Keith Paniucki on Friday to ask about the planned opening next year. Paniucki was not immediately available for comment.
