Award-winning musical artist and entrepreneur Native Wellz is moving into the hospitality space. As the launch of his signature rum, Sol Premium Rum, approaches in April, the musician and businessman is also at work on an “elegant, luxurious” new lounge in St. Petersburg. Sol Premium Lounge, “the new celebrity hang out,” will open at 9047 Ninth St. N.
“With Sol Premium Lounge, I mainly want to bring a nice nightlife vibe, something that’s going to be for grown men and grown women,” Native Wellz told What Now on Tuesday. “Something elegant, luxurious.”
The lounge’s 4,800-square-foot space will feature VIP sections, comfortable lounge-style seating, drinks, hookah, and a food menu. Some of the details are still under wraps, but on the food side, you can expect gourmet flatbreads, wings, and more.
You can also expect to find Sol Premium Rum, coming out next month: an 80-proof sippable rum that goes down smooth without being too sweet.
“Hopefully we can bring something different to the table in the St. Pete area. I think we’ve really got something here.”
