Driftwood Palm Harbor, a new upper-end casual restaurant “without the linens” is set to open at 1114 11th St sometime early next year, depending on final inspections and licensing according to owner Alex Stevenson.

“I’ve been in the business for a long time, fixed a lot of places for other people, and I’m just going to do my own venture now,” Stevenson tells What Now Tampa. “We’re going to be upper-end casual, without the linens, so kind of like an ocean prime meets casual kind of a deal.”

The menu will feature fresh seafood, steak, chicken, and pasta, as well as some “unique stuff that nobody else is doing,” however, Stevenson stopped short of divulging any more of what he calls a “surprise.”

Driftwood Palm Harbor currently has a Facebook page, which can be found here, and Stevenson is in the process of setting up a “Friends of Driftwood” page, where folks can stay up-to-date on all the restaurant’s happenings.
