The hospitality group behind local wine shop, bar, and restaurant Cru Cellars has three new concepts in the works, including the champagne, cocktail bar, and full-service restaurant Bouzy, which will open in Hyde Park Village at 1640 W Snow Ave this fall, according to Cru Cellars’ CEO Kyle King.

“With construction and everything that’s going on right now it’s hard to pinpoint an exact date, but our goal for opening is November this year,” King tells What Now Tampa. “We’re excited to be part of all the great concepts and restaurants in Hyde Park Village, and we think we’ll be a great addition to the Village overall.”

According to its official website, “Bouzy blends elevated elegance with poppy effervescence to embody the timeless spirit of our favorite drink. Our fizz-first menu features a thoughtfully curated selection of champagnes, pét-nats, craft cocktails, and small plates.”

Aside from Bouzy, Cru Hospitality Group is also in the process of opening two new locations on Water Street – Small Giant, which focuses on cocktails, beer, and Ohio-style pizza, as well as a neighborhood retail wine and liquor shop dubbed Wine on Water – both of which are slated to open this November.

Those two ventures were actually announced last November. At the time, Cru Cellars founder Jennifer Bingham said, “We see the vision that the Water Street Tampa team has of the burgeoning neighborhood, and we’re excited to be part of the fabric of life for those that work and live here. Small Giant will be their favorite corner bar to have a night out with friends or catch the game. If they want to relax at home with some wine or a favorite cocktail, then the bottles at Wine on Water are just moments away.”
