“We are on a mission to bring fresh, authentic (on the spicy side) Austin style Tex Mex to town,” says the restaurant’s website. “Our restaurants are locally owned and operated by some taco eating, margarita drinking fanatics who can’t wait to share their love of the Austin cuisine with you.”

Wicked Cantina’s Lunch & Dinner menu opens with Appetizers like Shrimp Ceviche and the Wicked Roll (Crispy rolled flour tortilla filled with shredded chicken, house blend of cheese, bacon and jalapeño peppers. Served with Jalapeño Ranch sauce for dipping). What follows are a selection of enchiladas and tacos, including Tex Mex Classic Cheese Empanadas and Carnitas Street Tacos.

Popular Combos and Dinners include #1 “The Favorite” (One Wicked [crispy, beef] taco and two cheese enchiladas topped with Chili con Carne sauce and diced onions) and the Pork Chile Verde Dinner (Slow roasted pork simmered in a delicious green chile sauce and topped with shredded Jack cheese, cilantro and onions).

What Now reached out to Janice Dolan, who co-owns the restaurant with Mike Dolan, to inquire about the location on Tuesday. Dolan was not immediately available for comment on the opening.
