Wepaa’s menu opens with Aperetivos like Queso Frito, Sorrullitos, Coconut Breaded Shrimp, and Arañitas De Ceviche. Next comes a selection of Empanadillas in varieties ranging from beef and sweet plantain, to pizza, to lobster, to octopus. Platos, the main event, are served with choice of two sides, and include proteins like Bistec, Huevo Frito, and Carne Frita.

There’s also a selection of pasta dishes, desserts, Jugos Naturales—and, of course, plenty of drinks.

What Now reached out on Monday to owner Abner Morales. Morales confirmed news of the opening but was not immediately available to comment on the project.

The US Highway 19 location is situated next to hotels The Vue Lake Tarpon and The Greece Suite. Just south on Highway 19 is Comb Coffee Company.

I’m so glad for Abner Morales and his success. I was a registered nurse from the Bay Pines VA hospital. The physician I use to work for and I use to go there on our evenings to eat. We go with other co workers ,my hubby loved the food and would go meet us there from Tampa. The food is amazing. The employees and their cook are wonderful. Abner and beautiful partner were so warm and amazing. I miss not going there so I just might pop by this week as I have relatives from PR visiting.
