With more than 60 locations open or under development nationwide, the Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is preparing to break into Tampa Bay with its first Tampa location, opening at 12817 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Unit 15.
“Our plan is to grow from Hillsborough County to Pinellas and cover the whole of Tampa,” a local representative told What Now on Monday.
The Great Greek is known for its delicious and health-conscious Mediterranean dishes—most popularly its gyro and chicken souvlaki—which are available (or will be soon) in more than 20 states.
“It’s food you can feel comfortable feeding to your family,” the representative said. “The ingredients are healthy, nutritious, fresh.”
The space on Dale Mabry will seat between 28-30 dine-in guests. The location will service a large number of takeout orders, but you won’t find the Great Greek skimping on the service side.
“It’s going to be very customer-service driven. We want everyone to feel recognized, to enjoy the food and the service. We want to create that Mom-and-Pop sort of feel.”
