Up-and-coming multi-concept franchisee Emfire Brands has big plans for the Tampa Bay market. The company, headed up by Chuck Pasquotto, Hitesh Savla, and Harsha Gowda, is bringing two concepts to the area for the first time. One is Sugar Wing, the NYC-born chicken wing chain, and the other is Mighty Quinn’s BBQ. According to recent coverage by Franchise Times, Emfire Brands is under contract to open four Mighty Quinn’s locations.

The first of these has already opened, at 202 N Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, and Hitesh Savla, the group’s chief operating officer, says the location has gotten off to a great start.

“It’s already getting great reviews,” Savla told What Now on Tuesday. “We’ve been open for about 15 months, and people really like the food.”

Mighty Quinn’s foodie-friendly barbecue menu includes proteins like Brisket, Chipotle BBQ Chicken, Pulled Pork, Spare Ribs, and Wings. They come slathered with sauces like the classic BBQ Sauce, Chile-Lime Sauce, Carolina Mustard Sauce, Chipotle Aoili, and more. There are also sandwiches like the Brisket Sandwich, the Chipotle BBQ Chicken Sandwich, and the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage Sandwich.

“The approach is simple: source the best quality ingredients we can and donʼt fuss with them too much,” reads the Mighty Quinn’s website’s About page. “We cook our barbeque the old school way with plenty of wood and time, adding just the right amount of salt and spice to let that lovely marriage of process and product evolve into something transcendent.”
