The 1435-square-foot building will feature a 38-seat restaurant space, plus a 500-square-foot patio providing 25 more seats outside. It will be launched by Majestic Restaurant Group, a growing hospitality company based in Tampa Bay, which is launching locations in the Tampa Bay, Orlando, and Gainesville markets.

“Pepper Lunch offers a uniquely different dining experience, with authentic, approachable food,” Pepper Lunch CEO Troy Hooper said in a press release. “With experienced local operators in the Majestic Restaurant Group, we’re looking forward to getting the doors open in the coming months so St. Petersburg-area residents can discover what makes Pepper Lunch one of the most popular concepts in the world.”

Pepper Lunch is “one of Japan’s largest homegrown franchise restaurant brands,” the press release says.

“Renowned for quality food served in a unique and innovative way for dining in or delivery, and with guest[s] being able to get in, dine, and be on their way in 20 minutes for under $20, the beloved Japanese-based brand seeks experienced franchise partners to expand its proven business model and cutting-edge customer offerings across the United States.”

The Park Boulevard location is situated at the North 47th St North. Opening there, Pepper Lunch will join a restaurant community that includes Moe’s Southwest Grill, PDQ Chicken, and T’asia Sushi & Thai.
