Kingsway Shopping Center, the retail center located on the southeast corner of Kingsway Road and East Windhorst Road in Brandon, will soon be home to a brand-new restaurant serving a selection of salads, sandwiches, desserts, and more. Plan review paperwork submitted by TALN Foodgroup LLC shows Homestyle Scratch Kitchen opening at 1215 Kingsway Road.
The restaurant recently revealed its menu in a post on its Facebook page.
“The wait is over!!!” the post says. “Here is what we will be serving at HOMESTYLE Scratch Kitchen… OPENING SOON!!!”
The menu includes sandwiches like the Hot Pressed Italian, Porkroll & Cheese, and Sausage & Peppers. There are Specialty items like Italian Sausage Bread, Pepperoni & Cheese Bread, and Meatloaf served with one of Homestyle’s sides. These include Mac & Cheese, a Veggie of the Day, and Roasted Potatoes.
The dessert menu features choices like Ricotta Pie, Stuffoli, and Anise Biscotti.
Behind Homestyle Scratch Kitchen is owner Donna Berry. What Now reached out to Berry on Friday to inquire about plans for Homestyle’s opening. Berry was not immediately available for comment.
