The retail and restaurant community at the intersection of Big Bend Road and US Highway 301 looks to be welcoming a new smoothie shop into the mix soon. Paperwork was submitted by Smoothie Stop LLC for a restaurant at 13384 US Hwy 301 S.
Behind Smoothie Spot LLC is owner Douglas Hamric. What Now reached out to Hamric on Friday to inquire about plans for the new smoothie brand. Hamric was not immediately available to share details.
This leaves us awaiting more information on the Smoothie Stop’s food offerings and projected opening timeline.
Launching in the retail center on the southeastern corner of the US-301-Big Bend intersection, the Smoothie Spot would join restaurants like Panera Bread, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and Asian Yummy House.
