On an opening date still to-be-announced, the new Manga Tea will launch at 100 Main Street, the coverage says, as part of the Shoppes at Harbour Pointe retail center.

“At Manga Tea Shop, our mission is to create a place for manga and anime lovers to call home!” says the brand’s website.

So if you like anime and manga and boba tea, the perfect place for you is opening in Safety Harbor. Manga Tea offers Fruit Tea drinks with green or black tea in varieties like Strawberry, Passion Fruit, and Lychee. There are Milk Tea varieties like Taro, Thai Tea, and Honeydew, along with Yogurt Drink flavors like Mango, Peach, and Grape. There’s even a selection of mochi ice cream: standout flavors include Cake Batter, Carrot Cake, Espresso, and Purple Sweet Potato.

Opening in the Main Street location, the new Manga Tea location will join restaurants like Screaming Jalapeno, Athens, Water Oak Grill, and The Tiki Tavern.

What Now reached out on Monday to owner Matthew Pengtakoon to inquire about plans for the new location. Pengtakoon was not immediately available for comment.
