Belleair Bluffs will soon be home to a brand-new acai shop. Zapf’s Fruits & Nuts will open at 80 Indian Rocks Road N, Suite A, according to submitted plan review paperwork.
What Now reached out on Thursday to Chris Zapf, who owns the restaurant together with Kimberly Zapf, to inquire about plans for the opening. Zapf was not immediately available for comment.
This leaves us with some questions about the menu, if not the ingredients. In addition to the fruits and nuts mentioned in the name, Google Maps (where Zapf’s Fruits & Nuts is marked “Temporarily closed”) confirms that the upcoming restaurant is an acai chop.
Opening on the south side of the intersection of West Bay Drive and Indian Rocks Road, Zap’s Fruits & Nuts will join a food and drink community that offers plenty of choices, like Panera Bread, Bonefish Grill, Seaweed Steaks Seafood & Sushi, and E&E Stakeout Grill.
