St. Petersburg will soon be welcoming a new ice cream shop brand into its culinary community. Plan review paperwork submitted by Wildflower Creamery LLC shows Wildflower Creamery opening at 2603 Ninth Street (Dr. M.L.K. Jr St) N.
“Welcome to Wildflower Ice Cream, a family-owned and operated ice cream shop in the heart of Saint Petersburg, Florida,” says the Wildflower Ice Cream website. “As a family with two kids, we understand the struggle of finding delicious ice cream options that cater to everyone’s needs. That’s why we created Wildflower Ice Cream, where we offer an equal selection of non-dairy and traditional ice cream flavors. Whether you’re dairy-free or a classic ice cream lover, we have something for every one to enjoy. Come visit us and taste the difference that love and quality ingredients make!”
What Now reached out on Wednesday to owner Steven McGarry to ask about the Wildflower opening. McGarry was not immediately available for comment. Little is therefore known yet about the brand’s ice cream offerings, but Wildflower’s Instagram page promises “handcrafted soft serve ice cream.”
