According to a recent Instagram post, which reads “SEMINOLE HEIGHTS WE COMIN 4 U,” the brand is headed to—you guessed it—Seminole Heights. A close look at the photo (see below) reveals the location in question to be the one currently occupied by The Blind Tiger, at 4304 N Florida Ave.

The Lab offers familiar espresso drinks like the Americano, Latte, and Cortado, along with drip coffee and Chemex pour-over, plus a Nitro Brew and Cold Brew. It has also offered breakfast sandwiches.

“The Lab’s belief is much like our name suggests; all of our coffee offerings are consistently changing to bring a new outlook to the Tampa Bay area,” reads the About page on the brand’s website.

The Florida Avenue location is situated across the street from Florida Avenue Brewing Company and across Genesee Street from Sea Maids Creamery.

What Now reached out on Thursday to The Lab co-owner Jason Barnett. Barnett, a coffee entrepreneur who is also behind Tampa’s Zeal Coffee Roasters, was not available for comment on Thursday.
