A representative of Fresh Kitchen did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Family-owned and operated under the wider Ciccio Restaurant Group, Fresh Kitchen opened its first location in Tampa in 2014, followed by Sarasota and St. Pete in 2015 and 2016 respectively, before making its way down south the following year.

Today, Fresh Kitchen operates 12 locations across the state, where folks can enjoy a build-your-own-bowl model of bases such as brown rice, kale slaw, spinach salad, sweet potato noodles, and cauliflower potato mash, topped with roasted veggies, choice of proteins including grilled citrus chicken, chilled capers tofu, herb grilled steak, or roasted salmon, and a variety of sauces and add-ons.

The menu itself – which rotates with the seasons – is a testament to Fresh Kitchen’s mission to serve “fresh, high-quality ingredients that nourish and energize your body.”
