Global sandwich brand Subway is planning a move in Pinellas County and a new location in Pasco County. A recently submitted plan review indicates a Subway location is planned for 1126 62nd Ave. N in St. Petersburg. What Now reached out to several representatives of SUB TENN, LLC, a Knoxville-based operator of Subway locations headed up by John Dell and Robert Maxson, to see what’s going on.

What Now spoke with Khris Demedeiros, Vice President of Operations for Dell/Maxson Group earlier this week. Demedeiros said the 1126 62nd Ave. address was the future home a nearby Subway store, currently located at 956 62nd Ave. N. It will be relocating to the new address soon.

Demedeiros also said the Subway megafranchisee is planning a new location for Pasco County, in San Antonio. “We’re just about to break ground on that in the next month,” said Demedeiros.

The address for the new spot has yet to be revealed, so keep your eyes open for groundbreaking in San Antonio in February. Construction is soon to begin, which means San Antonio can expect more of Subway’s world-famous footlongs before too long.
