“We love the food,” RRG CEO Randy Pianin told What Now on Wednesday. “And then, in addition to the food, it’s all about the vibe in the restaurants, the community, the loyal fan base.”
What Now Atlanta recently reported on RRG’s plans to bring 15 Potbelly stores to the Atlanta market. Meanwhile, a plan review shows Potbelly opening at 1635 Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. And that’s not all:
“This will be our first Potbelly in Florida, but we also operate four in Columbus, Ohio, and have signed development agreements to open more in Columbus, Sarasota, Manatee County, and Palm Beach County, St. Lucie County, and Martin County.”
“From the comforting, melty cheese of a toasted sandwich made with love, to classic photos of Jimi Hendrix shredding a guitar solo at Woodstock, Potbelly is just a fun place to be,” says the brand’s website. “We’re a first-class dive. A place to take a break from it all. Sure we make the best toasted sandwiches in all the galaxies (sorry aliens, but it’s true). But we serve them up with a smile. That’s easy when you love what you do: Making people really happy with craveable food, from our toasty sandwiches, soups, salads, fresh-baked cookies and hand-scooped milkshakes.”
