At once a healthy restaurant and a wellness and lifestyle brand in its own right, Miami‘s Pura Vida has grown considerably in recent years and is now approaching a total of 30 locations. It has already made landfall on the west coast of Central Florida with a location in Sarasota, and now—after no shortage of rumors—Tampa Tomorrow says the news is confirmed that Pura Vida is on its way to Tampa.

“When we first heard whispers about Pura Vida coming to the Tampa Bay market, we had a feeling it might be true,” says a Tampa Tomorrow Instagram post. “Those rumors have now been confirmed, though the location of the beloved Miami brand remained a mystery for a while.”

“Remains” is more like it. No confirmation has been made of the particular location, although Tampa Tomorrow says the prevailing rumor is that it will replace the recently shuttered Goody Goody Burger in Hyde Park Village.

Pura Vida offers a menu featuring All-Day Breakfast offerings that include avocado toasts, pasture-raised egg sandwiches, fresh bagels, and raw organic açaí bowls. Salads are customizable with a choice of proteins; Wraps & Sandwiches and Bowls feature your choice of bases and proteins; and there is also a wide array of gluten-free and vegan Sweet Treats.

Pura Vida’s mission, the brand’s website says, is to “establish a standard of health and wellness in the community by providing access to healthy and nutritious food, always.”
