Founded by husband-and-wife team Raphael and Sarah Perrier, Kahwa Coffee has moved into franchising as it continues to expand. With nearly twenty locations, the brand is preparing to move into Palm Harbor this spring. Plan review documents show the new Kahwa opening at 32700 US Highway 19, in the retail center on the northwest corner of the Tampa Road intersection.

“We’re looking at May, if things go smoothly with permits,” franchisee Chris Deneault told What Now on Monday.
Although other franchise locations Kahwa locations have opened, Deneault says he was the brand’s first franchisee to sign.
“It was back in October 2022,” Deneault said. “It just took this long to find the right location.”
Deneault says the match with Kahwa Coffee came naturally, as he was looking to start business and had family members who were looking to invest.
“My wife and I tried it at the location on main Street, and my wife fell in love with the coffee.”
Kahwa’s menus have featured hot drinks including coffee and tea classics like the Macchiato, Capuccino, Caffe Latte, and Chai Lattee, plus cold ones like cold brew and iced varieties of those other favorites. There’s also a selection of breakfast sandwiches, and pastries and goodies that tend to vary by locale.
