The location will feature “a nostalgic campground feel, inspired by retro summer camps,” says the St. Pete Rising coverage. It will boast an 11,000-square-foot outdoor patio configured like a campsite, including tents for parties, fire pits, and a stage for live music and DJ events. The indoor space comprises about 2,300 square feet equipped with a large bar and a menu that fits the camp theme.
“I’m really excited about finding the right place for this concept,” Hunger Thirst Group founder and CEO Stephen Schrutt says in the coverage. “Ironically, during the summer of 2019, I was looking at a space and what I was really interested in about the location was the outdoor area. That outside space really was the driving force to creating Summer Camp.”
What now reached out to Stephen Schrutt on Tuesday to inquire about the project. (We’re especially curious for more details on the menu!). Schrutt was not immediately available for comment.
