Known as the founders of Hooters, HMC Hospitality Group is making big moves in the Tampa Bay market. Word got out back in September, for example, that the company had signed a deal to bring several outposts of Naples-born Tex-Mex restaurant Tacos & Tequila Cantina to Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough Counties.

Now, the company is going to back to its Hooters roots, launching Pasco County’s third Hooters at 25245 Wesley Chapel Blvd in Wesley Chapel, according to recent coverage by That’s So Tampa.
“We are excited for our growth and expansion and look forward to becoming a go-to spot for the Wesley Chapel community,” Neil Kiefer, CEO of HMC Hospitality Group, says in the That’s So Tampa coverage.
HMC founded the Hooters brand in Clearwater forty years ago, and it currently owns and operates 22 locations, eleven of which are in its home turf in the Greater Tampa Bay area; the other eleven are in Chicagoland.
Hooters Original Wings come with sauce and rub varieties like Honey BBQ, Honey Thai Chili Pepper, Daytona Beach (Spicy BBQ with a Floridian Heat), Caribbean Jerk Rub, and Paul Prudhomme’s Blackened Rub.
