With nearly 550 locations nationwide, First Watch is one of the southeast and Midwest regions’ favorite places for breakfast and lunch, and Florida is its epicenter, boasting more than 120 locations already in operation. Less than two months ago, First Watch launched a long-awaited sixth location in Manatee County (where it has outposts in Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, East Manatee, and Parrish), and now it is preparing to open a seventh, according to recent coverage by the Bradenton Herald.

The Herald says the company has filed paperwork to open in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbor, at 7105 State Road 64 E, Suite 101 in Bradenton.

“According to the shopping center’s leasing plan records, there’s dedicated space for a breakfast restaurant pending a signed lease. It would go next to a dentist’s office and an incoming Panda Express restaurant off Lighthouse Drive near Academy Sports + Outdoors, a sporting goods store,” the Herald coverage says.

First Watch is known for its menu of frequently revolving offerings that change with the seasons.

“Just as we greet each morning with the sunrise, we welcome each season into the First Watch menu with ingredients and flavors inspired by the position of the sun,” says the First Watch website. “That’s why on our menu you’ll find vibrant, green California-grown asparagus in April, or the most refreshing Florida watermelon in July, or tender, sweet yellow corn from the midwest in August.”

Current highlights include Parmesan Prosciutto Toast (Thick-cut, griddled artisan sourdough with thinly shaved prosciutto, scrambled cage-free eggs, Monterey Jack, lemon-dressed arugula and roasted garlic aioli topped with freshly grated Parmesan), Carne Asada Hash (Thinly sliced carne asada, crumbled chorizo and diced red bell peppers in a potato hash topped with two cage-free eggs any style, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, housemade pico de gallo, fresh avocado, shaved radish, cilantro and jalapeño crema; served with two warm wheat-corn tortillas), and Raspberry Ricotta French Toast.
