With five company-owned locations in Maryland and Virginia, pickeball facility brand Dill Dinkers is capitalizing on the growing popularity of this racquet sport and growing fast. It has now signed a development agreement with local couple Kevin and Lisa Goettel to bring 10 Dill Dinkers pickleball clubs to Pinellas County, according to recent coverage by St. Pete Rising.

“After discovering pickleball three years ago, we fell in love with the sport and its vibrant community,” Kevin Goettel says in the St. Pete Rising coverage.
Dill Dinkers is membership-based, with discounts on court reservations, lessons, tournaments, and the pro shop for members. Each Dill Dinkers location also has a small cafe serving up food, drink, and even alcoholic beverages. (Menu details are not yet available, however.)
No sites have been secured for the Dill Dinkers expansion yet, but the Goettels are planning on launching their first pickleball club in St. Petersburg.
What Now reached out to Kevin Goettel on Wednesday to inquire about plans for the rollout in St. Petersburg. Goettel was not immediately available for comment.
