A new cafe is opening in Seminole’s Oakhurst Plaza shopping center in late water/early spring. Called Crave Coffee + Market, the new coffee shop will offer specialty coffee drinks, bagels by St. Petersburg’s Pete’s Bagels, and a small retail section with items made by local artisans and brands.

“My wife and I, we love creating things,” Charles Frost, who is opening Crave Coffee + Market in partnership with Brittany Frost, told What Now on Tuesday. “We love beautiful spaces, we love people and community, and that was kind of what we were looking for. When we moved to Seminole two years ago, I really fell in love with the cycling community here and found a place in that. And we just said, let’s do something.”

As far as coffee goes, Frost says, “We’re going to have it all.” That means espresso drinks, specialty cold brews and cold brew drinks, specialty lattes (there’s mention in coverage by St. Pete Rising of cereal milk lattes!), matcha lattes, and teas. Add that to Pete’s Bagels, and a grab-and-go section with other beverages, and what else do you need? A cozy space.

Check! Taking over the former AuLeche space, Crave Coffee + Market will feature seating for 24 guests, with small tables and cozy chairs, plus bar seating.

“We want people to use our wifi,” Frost said. “Come work and be part of the community.”
