“We’ve been in business twenty-seven years,” owner Jeffrey Borysiewicz told What Now on Monday. “We’ve got three high-end stores and bars [in Orlando], along with one in Tampa.”

What sets this location apart from Corona’s other shops will be El Septimo Lounge, an exclusive lounge opening on the shop’s second floor, named after El Septimo, a brand offering both cigars and cognac.

“The lower story has a bar that’s open to everybody, with a lot of bourbons and single malts,” Borysiewicz said. “Upstairs is members-only, with exclusive-access lockers.”

Opening at the intersection of Lemon Avenue and First Street, the new Corona Cigar Co. location is situated among a number of food and drink spots, including Bevardi’s Salute, Mattison’s City Grille, and Pizza N’ Brew. It promises to be a great place for cigar-lovers to relax, with a nice extra touch for the aficionado.

“We’re looking forward to meeting our fellow cigar connoisseurs in Sarasota,” said Borysiewicz.
