“It’s our pleasure to confirm we will be opening a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Lutz in late 2022/early 2023. We look forward to serving all of our guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality,” Chippeaux tells What Now Tampa.

“Being a Chick-fil-A Operator in a community where I have invested so much of my own life is a dream come true. I look forward to opening this new restaurant and it serving as a place where all Team Members and guests are welcomed and shown care.”

Chick-fil-A’s origins date back to 1946 in Hapeville, Georgia when founder Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant, Dwarf Grill. Some 15 years later, Cathy made a breakthrough with a pressure fryer resulting in the brand’s iconic chicken sandwich, and in 1961 he officially registered the name Chick-fil-A. Today, the company is still family-owned and operated.

Although the company has more than 2,600 restaurants across North America and Puerto Rico, the new Cypress Ranch location will be the company’s second for the city of Lutz, alongside an outpost at 2349 Sun Vista in Cypress Creek Town Center.
