This news comes on the heels of the announcement of Akdeniz’s plans for a new food hall in Seminole Heights, which is expected to open before the end of this year with 8-9 different restaurant concepts offering a variety of Asian and Asian fusion cuisine.

One of the new Champion Pizza locations will open near the University of South Florida, in the retail center on the northwest corner of East Fowler Avenue and Bruce B Downs Boulevard. That retail center is already home to a number of popular concepts, including First Watch, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Cold Stone Creamery and more.

“We are committed to using the finest fresh ingredients in our recipes and we would not serve the food that we would not eat ourselves,” says the Champion Pizza website. “Our basic ingredients such as crust, sauce, and some toppings, are made daily at our factories and delivered to each store so we maintain the quality of our food.”
