Located at 6749 Manatee Ave. W, Mitaka Japanese Ramen House offers Bradenton a selection of ramen and other Japanese dishes, along with beer and sake. After operating for about four years, the ramen brand is now preparing to expand with a second location, this time in Ellenton, at 5943 Factory Shops Blvd.
What Now confirmed the news with a representative of the restaurant on Monday. The representative said the new location, which is working toward an opening this August, will be slightly smaller than the Bradenton location, seating about 38 guests, but will offer the same menu of ramen, steamed buns, and more.
Mitaka’s ramen comes in varieties like Tonkotsu Raen, Shoyo Ramen, and Miso Ramen, along with other noodle dishes like Lobster Udon (Soy sauce base with pork bone broth served with lobster, beansprout, bamboo shoot, wood ear mushroom, egg, narutomaki & scallion with udon noodle). A selection of steamed buns includes proteins like pork, soft crab, shrimp, and tofu. The menu also features rices bowls, including the Chicken Curry Bowl, the Unagi Don Bowl, and the Chashu Don Bowl.
The location on Factory Shops Blvd is part of a building that houses food and drink spots like Evies Tavern, Sixty East Italian Cucina & Martini Bar, and Peach’s Restaurant.
